Just goes to show you how ignorant and lame our NTC officials are to come up with such a pathetic attempt at gaining more income revenue for their agency. duh!

Kindly make and implementing rules and regulations instead of sending a generic memorandum. Clarify meaning of etc. . Lisod kaayo naa moy memo wala moy implementing guidelines nga claro oi.

They cannot charge you for something they don't own. They do not own the internet. Maybe they are a little brain dead... must be the heat...

Friendster, checking email, chatting, etc. isn't exactly "free"--people tend to forget that, whenever you use the internet, whether in your home, or in a cafe, someone still has to pay some amount so that you are able to access it. I use the term "someone" because, if you argue that "Hey I use my friend's/brother's/dad's internet, so I'm getting it for free!, then it's your friend/brother/dad, who's eventually paying for what you're freely enjoying, so it's technically still not "free".

Haha I remember the time when we laugh with the thought of buying a bottle of water from a grocery store!

Now it is so true no one is laughing about it.
