Well, Garci will not speak about the tapes. What he will speak is about the opposition figures who called him. Heck, its not the issue. Hello Garci is not about opposition members calling him. Its about him talking to Gloria.

Well, this is a huge gambit for Garcillano because his trump card is his revealations against the opposition.

The question? Will the people bite the bait of Garcillano. Garcillano shoud pray that his testimony will not be a dud. Or else all hell will break loose if his scripted testimony will fall flat.

Well, if Garci has other truths to tell other than the conversation between her and Gloria, then he should tell.

The very reason why some people want to oust Gloria is not because of the conversation per se. But because of the so called immorality behind it. If some of the oppossition indeed talked to Garci during the elections, then they too committed immorality and shame on them for casting the first stones.

Miriam taunts fellow senators about Garci

Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago on Monday predicted that many senators will lose sleep once former election commissioner Virgilio Garcillano starts naming senators who called him up at the height of the election last year.

Garcillano is set to appear on December 7 before a House joint committee investigating the wiretapped conversations that purport to indicate that President Arroyo cheated in the 2004 polls.

"There will be a lot of insomniacs among senators on the eve of the House hearing on the wiretapped controversy. Garcillano will still testify and he will not go away even if these people call him names," Santiago told reporters at a press conference.

Garcillano is expected to divulge all politicians who called him up at the height of the canvassing of the votes.

Santiago asked the Senate Committee on Ethics and the Office of the Ombudsman to investigate the senators that Garcillano will name in his testimony.
