Yes it is true.. there are black holes in space (try to google for pics and more info). they are created when red giant stars explode, they create massive energies which have immensely strong gravitational field which attracts everything around it. There are other theories but this is the most famous.

Only human beings have the urge to define what "purpose" is, because this is how humans give "meaning" to life--silbi, kung ang life walay "purpose" to someone, what is his/her reason to exist?

The universe, however, just remains to be, regardless of whether its being has a purpose or not. This is a principle least understood, and furthermore, very difficult to accept, by the common person.

Black holes are products of an earlier event, that event, in turn, is a byproduct of an even earlier event, and so on. There is no need to have a "purpose"--things just evolve naturally from one state, to the other.

There is no connection whatsoever, between an "exploding" earth and the nature and principles of black holes. So that statement is skewed and invalid, and can lead to false assumptions.
