I thought it was only 2k jobs. Either way, the IT jobs should be wary of this. Obama might have strong decisive words which can raise your spirit but a one man cannot change the world alone. I just hope the IT business gets a grip of the current global economic crisis.

What's next - Lexmark?

Lexmark? True!. we cant avoid that. lexmark (US), most of the employees are contractual (majority). and they already terminated contractual employees for over a hundred now.. Good to say that in Lexmark (PH), we are just slightly affected. last year, they already set things up how lexmark will go through in the midst of economic crisis this 2009and up... cost cutting and others things that i couldnt divulge.
