I heard from a friend nga tagaan daw na cla ug list of possible questions so maka prepare cla sa mga possible answers so mao na scripted paminawn ilang answers. True ni?

True. hehe They do that para dili pud tawon ma ulawan ang mga candidates. It's just possible questions para maka prepare sila gamay. But truth is, most people mag memorize na sila answers, Mas maayo unta to form lang sila ideas sa ila mind then answer the question naturally. Whatever comes to mind kindda thing.

sa mga gusto makablo sa final question: As Miss Cebu, how would you promote and preserve
Cebuano culture?

answer ni kris: “Over the years, Cebu has changed a lot. Development is good so is change. But as a Filipino, I believe that our past is important
A man who doesn't know how to look back will never go anywhere. I will promote Cebu by simply telling people how important our history is,
As a matter of fact, being a finalist of Ms. Cebu, I learned a lot from all workshops and seminars and realized how rich in culture Cebu is. I will let people see with all the powers that I have and let them see what I've seen in Cebu. Cebu is my home, my paradise.”

i don't like the answer lagi... the question is HOW would you promote and preserve our culture. telling people about the culture ain't enough... by word of mouth? mag tuyok tuyok ka round the city nya mag loud speakers? i don't want her to use all her POWERS.

ako lang opinion ha... but anyhow, we could just imagine the kind of pressure they must've felt on stage... so it's good, at least wa xa magpakauwaw.

wahahaha... my bet to be crowned miss cebu '09 was kimberly and kris. and it so happened both of them is on the top spot. and what's more is kris won. she's very gorgeous...

MISS CEBU CONTROVERSY: Check out the newspapers. A big boo-boo happened. Candidate #8, Kimberley Therese Burden, was blatantly robbed of her TEXTER'S CHOICE award. Even if she had an overwhelming margin over Kris Janson, it was Kris who was announced as the winner! How vulgar of the organizers to do this even if everybody else knew who really won that award! Read yesterday's Banat & The Freeman. Also today's CDN. The most informative article is on A10 of Sunstar. Kudos to Kimberley for being able to answer very well right after the moment she got cheated of an important award. Tsk, tsk, tsk! If this could happen with an award with a tally that is readily available, I just wonder about the other awards.
