i suggest we put this thread to close ....
there are things better left unsaid, although we have different understanding on different situation.... we have to consider other people's feelings.

it is best to stay polite at all times, after all we are educated people trying to answer the same question.

not people, stroking his/her own EGO by proving someone's else answer wrong, and provoke more agitation, unless of course im wrong... then forgive me.

Actually I like the thread ... but it seems its getting way off course anyway as suggested recently by the thread starter to stick back to the topics. I'll leave this thread open for a while maybe more suggestions will be posted ...

I'm not sure if it is possible to get the actual record... the program can only register a progress callback to be invoked periodically during operation. The progress callback can be used to update the progress bar or simply call ::update (in TCL) to prevent screen freezing during lengthly SQL operations.

I guess getting the actual record makes more slower, since you will be handling different data streams..
