as ive said before, ang Sinulog is a celebration. naay religious aspect ug naay lingaw lingaw. wa ka kaad2 ug pista bsan sa probinsya pre? mura mag di ka taga Pinas...

sumala unsa may mahitabo ig Holy Week? di ba from Holy Thurs to Black Saturday solemn gyud ang events? nya ig Easter Sunday, mosimba, then mangaligo dayon ug dagat, mangaon ug mag inom? mag unsa man diay ka ig Easter Sunday? mangadyi ra? LOLs

ah cge, kanang sayon ra sabton. di ba before sa pista sa probinsya naa man gyuy 9 day novena? nya ig bisperas naay procession? then after naay disco2x ug peryahan? mao2x rana sa Sinulog pre.

and there is a very big differnce between a TOTAL BAN and a SELECTIVE BAN of liquor. the former is impossible while the latter is reasonable.

to add, Sinulog is not just like any fiesta. it is a fiesta celebration for the whole of Cebu in honor of Sr Sto Nino, a tourist attraction, and something that promotes our culture and for business investments to the world.

it's like a big party where u raise ur wine glasses and say "CHEERS!"

Just to make it clear for everybody, the liquor ban will be good only on the carousel route. So for those who are taking it so hardly and for those who can't stop themselves from drinking, you can drink anywhere except from the carousel route area.

So just a little cooperation please. Those rules are so simple to follow. Those are set for the good of the majority.
