SEINFELD or F.R.I.E.N.D.S - best sitcom ever?

best (US) sitcom would be "Arrested Development", but the plebs don't watch it.. so it got cancelled. If you got to choose between Seinfeld and Friends, then it would have to be Friends. It's like Chris Rock said: "more people saw Tupak get shot than the final episode of Seinfeld."

Chris Rock was joking in that HBO special. He's very good friends with Jerry Seinfeld, they did standups together and circled the ranks. as i remember in the standup routine, he mentioned Jerry twice.

the last episode of Seinfeld was watched by millions but a little less average.

Friends can't compare to Seinfeld, in the acting maybe it comes close, but in the writing, never.

I like Seinfeld better, Friends was good but in the long run, I started to dislike the plots and they kind of got boring and repetitive. Its funny, Ive watched only, probably, less than 10 episodes of Seinfeld as opposed to Friends 3 seasons straight. And heck, I think even Raymond, Cheers and Frasier are better than Friends.
