I respect the image of sto.nino. for me, it represents the CHILD IN US. Do you know the purpose of symbols? In Analytic Psychology, it deals with our beliefs, longings, identity, triumphs, fears, adventures, etc. as collective humans, because words could'nt contain our imagination, so we use symbols like the image of sto. nino.

I respect the image of sto.nino. for me, it reprents the CHILD IN US. Do you know the purpose of symbols? I'd probably be as faithful when I was a kid if I can see a statue, any Catholic statue for that matter, stand on its own when it falls, or maybe payungan iyang kaugalingon kung mag-uwan.

I just don't see it right when I think nga ang sobrang kahoy gihimo sa estatuwa, gihimog sugnod and for some other purpose.

Enlighten me please.

the image or statue is important.. whats important is the person that represent the statue.

yah sak2 ka... pero, curious lng... ky ang purpose gd ni Hesus ma0ng ni anhi siya is to save us... so, ang importante gyd is k2ng pagkamatay niya sa Kros...

tungod ky curious ko, why worship the baby? dghan mn gd catholics especially k2ng wla nag skuyla, wla kaila... so, mka confuse sa ilang mind... they dont know kung kinsa ilang gi worship... kamu kaila mn mu nga si Jesus na... so, kamu bahala, naa mn ta freedom of choice...
