HELL as place doesn't exist! But HELL as a state of being exists temporarily here on earth. How can GOD create humans in HIS OWN IMAGE and LIKENESS and send them to HELL to be damned for eternity? That would be cruel for GOD and no INFINITE JUSTICE would be served! Doesn't make sense to me at all!

hmmmmmmmm just like what the bible said that God gave us free will...
Yes. FREEWILL is the greatest GIFT from GOD and it is up to us to use it for GOOD or BAD!

Hell in the bible also means DEATH.. so you are saying death do not exist either..

satan is one of His creation, God will soon send him to eternal damnation. may i ask you bro, which humans will He send to eternal damnation? His faithfuls surely are not the ones. right? maybe those impious ones..

Death exists ony at the physical level and our SPIRIT don't die. We are not our bodies but we do have a body. Our real identity is Spiritual. HELL should never be equated with DEATH becauae Death is a natural process of life. Everybody dies. Evreything that you see will perish one day. What is ETERNAL and IMMORTAL is the SPIRT of man.

GOD sends NOTHING because there is no hell as a place. The wicked ones will surely be given the chance by GOD to go back to earth and learn their lessons until they graduate and finally go to HEAVEN.

OK, so let us say Hell in the Bible also means Death.

So, "according to the Bible" (more like your interpretation), it would be implied that to escape Hell is like to escape Death. (Since if you die, its Hell...)

So immortality means Heaven, as implied by your interpretation then.

Heck, I could only imagine that having immortality would means a hell of a life!

    Spoiler!
OK, I posted above partly just for fun.

...going back to the original thought of the thread...

Those seemingly "contradictions" found in the Bible can just be reconciled when one is diligent enough to know the historical context from which a passage was written. Oftentimes, human as we are we tend to read back portions of the Bible using our "contemporary lenses", applying meaning on our own terms rather than seeking out for the meaning from which the writer intended to convey. The context from which the writer was situated at always play a vital role if we really need to know what a certain passage mean. Otherwise we mangle the pages as contradictory.

    ...just some thoughts folks...

i agree with mordecai_327, that we have to search, and dig deeper of the meanings.

Now, question lang para sa tanan, because every arguement that the Bible Believers always say is this, "Dont read the Bible LITERALLY". ok, sige agree ko, i wont take or read it literally.

    Kindly answer my question -

1.WHEN and WHAT verse or book from the BIBLE shall we not take into LITERAL meaning?

    2. Shall we treat the whole book, every chapter, every story with a "NOT LITERAL MEANING" mindset?

    3. How about, lets say, Jesus raise Lazarus from the Dead? Would you not take it literally that Jesus LITERALLY raise Lazarus from the dead?

To say, "Dont take it literally" to someone who questions the BIBLE, is just an excuse when every logical reason is lost.

God said, do not be afraid to the one that can only kill the body but not the spirit.. so God can kill the spirit through eternal damnation.
