daghan pa jud low ballers, kulang na lng pangayu-on, wahehehe...

kidding aside, i think ang best karon is to cater ang usa ka "elite" nga group, that is, ang mga enthusiast. ang business nimo should have this special section, if i may call it, without forgetting to serve ang ordinary buyers. always look sa best bang for the bucks, look at reviews, and do not be late with technology. kay if d ka late, u will be sure nga sa imo ang first buyers, and other stores will have whats' left...

there are alot of people buying computers esp laptops. not high end but it would attract more people if you did service high end, customers come when product and service is present.

i wasnt such a gamer and PC enthusiast till i built my gaming desktop with Simoko's help hehe

Kuripot ang taga cebu pero the prices in manila are too competitive, really its not as expensive as you think, probably cheaper.

It's not that easy going for High End products, if you notice most computer stores don't even have the item on stock, you need to have the 3 day order basis, because warranty already starts when you order the product from the distributor, its not like TV or other products there warranty doesn't start when you order from the distributor it starts when the customer buys the product.

Computers are different, what if you'll buy a product that's around 15k and warranty already starts after ordering, and no one buys it ? 6 months has passed ? your warranty is halved. TV's you can go for 1 year trying to sell one and you still will have full warranty for it.

When you say Enthusiast Products, which are they? is that 9k to above products?

Enthusiast Products are not necessarily defined by their price ranges...example: aftermarket heatsink/fan...kanang dala sa processor itself sufficient na baya na but their are people in the know(enthusiasts) that are not satisfied by it so ila ilisan ug aftermarket hsf...better performance+bling-bling effect...& it costaround 1k-4k...

i think ang kinahanglan nga computer retail store diri Cebu is kanang mo sell ug standard & special computer parts...maayo ug before & after sales service...tagdon ka inig solod nimo bsan naka tsinilas ra ka or naka longsleeves ba...hehehehe...and kung magpa warranty ka...ayohon ka ug istorya...dili nang morag likai2x na...take for example FineUpgrades nga dealer...the Silverstone psu they carry might not be the best in the world...pero ang ilang warranty service is TOPS gyud...naa kai problema, one call lang, matabangan gyud ka...sayang lang dili sila mo retail ug ubang computer parts...goodluck on your biz venture bro...

Nice idea, I guess the computer market here in cebu isnt that saturated yet.

Yes, in any form of business that should be the number 1 priority and of course price.

2-3days is the regular arrival time for items with distributors that are found locally ( ex. Axis Globa / Asia Tech ) and maybe 45-65 days for special orders.

1 year warranty is standard but most reputable brands carry at least 2 years and drives at 3-5yrs, you can offer 2yrs or more warranty for loyal customers or as "purchase extended warranty".

As a customer, i try not to purchase from retailers that offer only 1 year warranty for their wares even if the local distro offers 2years or more..

I notice only a few stores in cebu sell coolers

    Name suggestions ? etc.

    Thanks
You should offer a wide range of products and especially modding and enthusiast products, for coolers there are tons of people selling over at TPC, if you can beat their prices then you might have a very good market here in cebu. Good luck on this new business venture of yours.

Heres a little tip, the entry level to medium end market generates the most profits, highend market barely makes up 0.01% of your total profits. Its also a good idea to cater the highend / enthusiast market since most people ask purchase advice from their enthusiast buddies, thats already free advertising by word of mouth even if they just purchase low-med end systems.
