Thanks for the comment. If you are afraid of heights (which I am), perching on the very edge for the photo ops can be unnerving. Indeed, one feels philosphically and physically small within the context of the Grand Canyon---this is a natural formation that according to scientific evidence, took 20 million years for the Colorado river to carve out the canyon as we know it. There are certain lookout points that allow you catch a glimpse of the Colorado river that snakes its way through the bottom of the canyon.
