Default PHILIPPINE MOTTO! POOR GETS POORER, RICH GETS RICHER!

i do agree... by educating the people well, i think theyll learn not to put a price on their votes and choose the right person for the job. and i think that this coming election we should do the right thing...

it is not the governments job to educate the people. it is the schools job.
but it is the governments job to allocate enough resources to ensure a good education for the country's future generations.
the problem is that even the teachers who teach these children are not properly educated themselves...
if you get what i mean.
    if you dont,
it is because they work for the money.
    and i dont blame them.
that is how people are raised in this world. to work for money...
but never learning how to make money work for them.
and for this reason and for other reasons,
the poor will always continue to be poor.

i was expounding the subject on public schools.
i agree that they are not properly taught in there.
and i agree that if they were given equal opportunity to be educated,
they can make a lot of difference.
    but then again,
    education begins at home.

i think the best teacher is experience... it doesnt matter what school you go to, it's all a matter of perservance and determination to learn life's lessons. and the good ones are not taught within the confines of those four-walled rooms.

i know some people who came from public schools yet become successful. but i do agree that facilities and teaching aides in public schools are inadequate. but then again, it's all up to the student.

on the contrary, i believe it is the government's responsibility to assure that education is available to all. it is a basic social service that is not suppose to be delegated to any other private institition. it is suppose to be free and accessible to all.

for the state to delegate this responsibility is to waive any influence over the education of the youth; influence that is replaced by the profit oriented education that is so very prevalent today.

the system encourages this as it wants an uncritical and obedient workforce to supply what its selfish needs. it wants its constituents to remain relatively in need of basic services so that they will want to satisfy these first before any "higher" need should be satisfied; genuine freedom for example.

because the rotten system wants it that way. it does not want the people to rise above its poverty as to do so is to give it a voice, since education is already supplied as it rose from its former state.

I agree too. unfortunately too, diplomas is also not an insurance if you want financial success because we are talking how people become poorer and people become richer.

For me it is how one deal with the situation and how he see it, I read an article somewhere where there are two types of people who were on the same situation, both of them has no money, same level of education but the other person saw their worst scenario that has no solution, he told himself that "I will just do what I did, I will just live with it and survive because thats life". While the other person looked back of what he have done and said "I'll try to improve what I have done and explore new things". Most people (but not all) were afraid to do new things specially those who have been doing what they've done for 20 years or less. Usually their dialog are "ayaw nalang ana, kana na sad mga bag-o mauy pabuhata ana". They don't want to get out from their comfort zone.

IMHO yes education has some part of ones financial success but how you are determined, focus and how you work for your financial goal is the big key for your fortune.

so all in all it is how one set his mind.

see! "RICH" is not literally rich but he think rich and "POOR" is not literally poor, its how poor he think. To become poor or rich starts from ones family but ofcourse outside influence has some factor also.
