Nangawagtang tingali sila tanan because they have their own lives now... most have families to support. Do you think and banda banda sa Cebu maka supporta ug pamilya??

Personally... I don't think 40 Started it all. I'd give that credit to IRON SMOKE.

....I don't think 40 the band started it .... there were older bands that were tearing up Cebu Coliseum in the early 80s... like Iron Smoke, Mother Goose (Led Zeppelin of Cebu) .

Well i did not sign anything. It was presumed that 40 wrote the song. but they did not. Sa cassette tape nila they acknowledge me under the "thanks" portion not as the writer. hmmm maybe i can get the song back. haha. anyway what
the heck im just happy to be a part of the whole phenom.

By the way, if you've heard of the band PANDORA, when they asked me to play keyboards for them at OUTPOST last year, and the concept was to cover classic songs that influenced us, aside from playing stuff from HEART, BOSTON, etc. I specifically insisted that we play my favorite Cebuano song of all time, which is RAIN.

And we did. Our version was more of a power ballad, with a sax player also. And when we played it, everyone in the room knew the lyrics and sang with us. And we were all very happy afterwards.

Thank you for creating such a great song.
