Take nothing away from Ginebra, they have fought all conference long. It was already an achievement making it to the quarterfinals without Mark Caguioa and Rafi Reavis althroughout.
Ginebra beaten but unbowed
Beaten Barangay Ginebra coach Jong Uichico doesn’t want to dwell on their failure to protect a 21-point lead over San Miguel Beer last Sunday during their knockout game in the KFC-PBA Philippine Cup at the Astrodome in Pasay City.
"We should not be ashamed of our performance," said Uichico a day after the Kings absorbed a heartbreaking 98-93 defeat at the hands of the the Beermen. "Nobody gave us a chance, but we fought San Miguel in a series they’ll never forget."

ginebra players should stand proud and not be ashamed of their performance. its jong uichico who is the one who should be ashamed of. he never is a good coach especially on crunchtime. never knows how to protect leads... i can still remember even with the best players he coached on the philippine team.

Will Chris Alexander play for Ginebra in the Fiesta Conference? If he will and Mark Caguioa returns, title defense is doable.
