    Default Spiritual Path/Life

For many years now I have sought to walk a spiritual path. It has not been easy. What should have been easy-what, by all rights, ought to have been easy (shouldn't getting to GOD be the easiest of all?) - turned out to be very difficult. Until recently.

I see now that this was because, for most of those years, I was not clear on where my spiritual path was. Still I knew, I wanted to be on some kind of path, so I walked a path laid out for me by others. Only recently have I decided to follow the path of my heart. Only recently have I come to understand that it is okay to do so.

That was a great revelation. It was life changing. GOD wasn't going to get mad at me if I made a mistake, got it wrong, went astray, missed the boat. I wasn't going to burn in the everlasting fires of hell if I failed to discover and adopt the one true religion, worshipped improperly, or didn't worship at all.

So what is it like to walk the spiritual path? Look to your own life to find the answer. You've been walking the spiritual path since you were born. There is no way not to be walking the spiritual path, because there is no other path to walk. All of life is spiritual, and every step you take is a step on the spiritual path. You are a spiritual being, and everything that you think, say, and do is a spiritual event. (I'm sorry for all my ad hominems in my other posts but it doesnt mean I wouldn't do it again and again! Joke)

Where will your path take you today? Where ever that is, I am sure it will be a great adventure. Life is a lot of things, but it's rarely boring. Peace! OM Shanti!

"I think I spent 30 years of my life, trying to become something, I wanted to become good at things, I wanted to become good at tennis, I wanted to become good at school and grades and everything I kind of viewed in that perspective. I'm not okay the way I am, but if I got good at things. I realized I had the game wrong, because the game was to find out what I already was."

Being a Rosicrucian, Theosophist, and a Freemason all at the same time has given me numerous experiences. it is both good and not-so good, but it's part of life as we make this journey.

the Bible is just one book and i'm not satisfied with just one book, father regnauld.

Even J. Krhisnamurti said that a true spiritual path is a pathless path. I'm not yet a Krishnamurti- so I choose this particular path.

Rather than adopt a spiritual path, I chose to dissect, understand, and make a sense out of all things spiritual by wading through the sea of symbolisms and figurative concepts underlying them.

When I am satified with my exploration of a subject and when I think I got it down to its 'rawest' form (the why's & how's, the psychology, etc...), its only by then when I decide to 'apply' or not to 'apply' it to myself. (I simply am not comfortable indulging into something I feel I have not yet understood or get to know enough...)

Given the massive amount of spiritual ideologies, the hard thing would be to chose which cases are worth looking at. Kay naay uban nga butchered na by the followers.

    I find it fascinating.

fatger regnauld, my spirituality is so simple, no holy books, not so much of deep psychology & philosophy, its so simple but difficult if you are not used to it, if i eat i eat, if i walk iwalk, if i work i work, if im sad im sad,its paying attention to whatever i do, not succesful all the time but its something that makes me a better person, as compared before, sometimes when i want to feed my ego, then i read holy books, psych,philo/metaphysical & of course sweet valley high
