Clever Brown...He asked those that who were uncomfortable or those dislike the proceedings - therefore less susceptible to what he intend to do - to leave the room and asked those who are interested to in continuing - the susceptible - to remain in the room for the next part, thus effectively suggesting that something special is gonna happen, and therefore leaving those who chose to continue in expectation.
When someone asks you whether you want to leave or remain, we naturally assume that something 'special' is to happen next (because if there isnt, why do they ask in the first place...there MUST be something...at least that is how we assume). And when you chose to remain, it is also passumed that you are committed.
What can I say...Its a very clever ploy...
