^^ well, the last comment man gud ako gi apil coz you know,naa man gud mag battle between two brands..and since this is a forum...ako nalang unhan para walay mu ingon na nindot ning usa compare sa usa...ok..it's always a common phrase if naay two models e compare: nasa indian yan,wala sa pana....hehehe

anyway,just follow your heart lang gyud bai...do some test shots lang gyud...imo


and yah,tempting kaau ang d700, nakasuway ko ana nga magcge nako basa about d700 and mga testshots nila...specially ang mga buttons nya na user friendly kaau,,specially if you get used to it..na enlighten lang gyud ako mind tungod ra pud gyud sa mga glass(lens) sa canon..

just compare the price of 24-70 sa nikon php 80k+ compare sa 24-70L 64k+....and yet,,proven and tested na ang 24-70L...so mas cheaper and mas daghan ug line up ang canon...

but if money is not really an issue, both brands are on the top...more on personal preference...

^^bitaw bai, if gusto ka try darkside,, get the chance dayon...yet i noticed na hilig man pud ka shooting moving subjects bai,like your kids...the d700 suits your needs... it has a fast AF..and the 17-35 lens gives you a better framing on a FF pud shooting group shots( like mga family outings,etc)

Investment wise, para naku deli ko mo switch. Kay sooner mag drool manka sa trinity (14-24, 24-70, 70-200), once makuha na nimo ang trinity. Mahimo ng extra baggage ang mong 17-35... IMHO

BTW i'm a Nikon DX user.....

Have a suggestion: Check if your peers, barkadas or close friends use SLR and check what brand they use. Cos maka borrow2x ra ka og gear from dem if pareha mu og brand.
