humanitarian crisis is inevitable, hamas fighter are shielding the gaza civilians that a terrorist could do... infact hamas fireback a rocket on a school n israel..
if both parties want to have an all out war then they should pull out the civilian population.
and what do you call bombing a UN school? isnt that terrorism? for me it is.
@malic: There you go again with your one sided view. If Israel nakapatay ug civilians its terrorism? Pero if ang Hamas its too old for us to understand dayon? How about the civilians sa Israel nga nikaon ug shrapnel from the rocket launchers? Isnt that terrorism? For me it is.
Israel did issue a warning. It was even on Al Arabiya television. Quit talking out of thin air.
Olmert issues last-minute warning to Hamas | U.S. | Reuters
Ang gitubag sa Hamas: Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said Israel would "pay the price" for any attack.
Hamas nagunauna maybe imo tubag? Klaro man sila. After the 6 month truce brokered by Egypt expired tira dayon silag rocket launchers into Israel killing civilians. Thus came the warning. Wa man muhonong. There we go. Even Egypt appealed to Hamas leaders pero as of the moment wala pa. So the offensive continues, innocent people get hurt or killed. Mao na price sa conflict.

Luoya kaau mga civilians. Naipit sila sa war, imagine dili pa gawason or pasudlan ang gaza. Civilians are trapped and caught between fire. Its a suicide to be there in the first place.
"its too old for us to understand" was meant for the cause of the conflict and not on the issue of civilian casualties.
Its not a one sided view, read it well.
They did? then, they should give an ultimatum, wait for the civilians to evacuate.
I dont care if they want to go for an all out war but first they(Israel and Palestine) must first pull the civilian population out.
let me post a part of an article by Pierre Tristam...
Hamas’ attacks on Israel won’t achieve much but further taint Hamas’ already discredited image in the world community and, increasingly, among the Palestinians of Gaza as well. Israel’s attacks on Gaza won’t achieve much either but discredit the Israeli military while pointing out the limits of Israel’s iron-fist strategy. The solution between Israelis and Palestinians has never been military. It cannot be, when more than 8 million people are jammed together over a crescent of land smaller than New Jersey. The solution has always been political.
For now, and all pretensions of “road maps for peace” and fanfare summits aside, neither side is interested.
exactly true.
hamas made the first move and attacked israel. they always thought that the blame would go to israel bec they are too small to be pinpointed as the perpetrators. and think also that israel is surrounded by countries who are allied with hamas so they always have the nerve to attack first.
hamas is using the civilians as shields and i think its under the geneva convention where any military units will not use civilians as source of protection. any recognized military unit follows this rule. and now if hamas wont heed to this rule, thus i consider them not an organized military of a country but rather a terrorist. we all know terrorists love to hurt civilians. its the hamas thats putting the citizens in danger. why fire rockets or mortars in populated buildings? thats because they couldnt afford to die firing rockets in the open. the high tech weapons systems of israel would pinpoint them in seconds. if i am a hamas fighter, would i risk my family firing mortar rounds in my backyard? just plain stupidity. well... if thats the case, maybe he and his family want to die as martyrs, the usual thinking of a hardcore fanatic.
if im in the shoes of the israelis, i would retaliate. i just dont sit there and watch rockets destroying and killing my people too. eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. just watch those palestinian boys throwing rockets or using slingshots against israeli soldiers. couldnt anyone think where or what their parents are doing or were they even reprimanded of doing such acts? i bet they were encouraged to do those things.
all in all, this fighting has been going on even during the time of Jesus. its really up to them to resort for peace. a lot of countries has already brokered for peace but this really has no sight for an end.
