Since you are a licensed real steel owner, if I were in your shoes, mas maayo siguro nga steps to take, is if that dog really has no owner (i.e. confirmed stray), nga pusila nalang dyud ug close range (one sure shot to the head), and kill it, provided nga aware ang neighbors and police that you are doing it to protect your own dog(s). The basis behind this is that the stray dog can be a potential rabies carrier, and this is truly a threat not only to your dogs but other people as well. The difference between shooting at the dog with an airsoft unit compared to shooting it dead with a real steel weapon, is twofold. a) if airsoft lang ang gamiton nimo, dili na mapurohan, ma-injure ra siguro and you're going to let it suffer. b) the chances of stray bb's flying around is higher than a one-shot pistol round to the head of that dog (no suffering).
