i can't say that guitarists now are dependent on effects... Because even during the '80s shred era a lot of guitarists use effects pedals especially during live performances... But the fact of the matter is, music has evolved, a new sound has emerged and a lot of people embraced it,.. Most of them don't care about what gear, pedal, amps they use, or how skilled they are playin' wise, or whatever...They just care about the music a certain band makes and they enjoy them...
Now if we see a lot of guitarists who are also posers, its their problem...Maybe they missed the thought that music is not about making an impression, its about expression...PERIOD!

The MT2s nowadays are a waste of money..unless you have it modded...the stock ones sound very crappy, probably because BOSS made them with cheapo parts unlike the REAL vintage pedals made in the '80s and early '90s era....there are a lot of pedals much better than MT2 now...I sold mine sinaw pa kaayo for 3k only...mura ra 2 ug give away..heheLast edited by PGM_301; 01-04-2009 at 01:46 PM.
