Yes
No
The role of the Church in this RH Bill seems more of INFLUENCING. Dipping their hands in the affairs of the State.
the Church cannot impose its morality to our government, nor blackmail it.
this is an issue of separation of church and state. The church is not the people nor the Philippines. it is our gov't instead who is the people and the Philippines.
otherwise, ato nlng himoun ug presidente atong archbishop, then the entire Philippines run by the theocrats and declare our country as a new version of Vatican...nya ang kinsa tong mo undergo ug safe-motherhood program sa DOH, dili taga-an ug communion. LOLs
yes, the church has religio-socio-political endeavors also, but let them leave the citizens to think and decide by themselves.
if the church says using condom is immoral, it can't prevent the state to legalize the use of condom.
<sarcasm on> besides, kinsa pa gud intawn ang wala nigamit rn ug condom nowadays wui? mga pari? i don't think nakasala ko sa Ginoo ky nigamit ko ug condom sa akong wife...lisora rba gyud nang unplanned pregnancy wui. samotan pa gyud mahal ang pabunyag...hehe
if the church says using birth control pills is immoral too, kinsa ba gud intawn ang wala nigamit ana rn oi? basin mga pari ra ang wala...hehe..also, i don't think nakasala ko ug akong misis ky nigamit ug birth control pills? i don't think so. <sarcasm off>
ang tawo, wala rana ga rely sa church morality in his/her decisions oi. he also has to rely on his scientific logic & reasoning, legal morality, group morality, ethnic morality, and so on and so forth.
Prankahay lang ba, i think our Catholic Church in the Phils has become "overly spoiled" nowadays. because of its role in removing Marcos, it became even more influential up to now. whatever it says, kinanglan matuman sa tanan...

And the rights of the patients aren't a consideration? Everyone has the RIGHT to INFORMED CONSENT. Or INFORMED REFUSAL. That's among the most basic of human rights. And I haven't heard of any health workers complaining about this. This is a non-issue to them, as it is the best interest of the patients that is supposed to be protected. Are you advocating that health workers give placebos instead of pills without informing the people? That should be punishable by law! And I don't see such an act as bringing anyone closer to heaven.
This section states maliciously engages in disinformation. If you consider yourself included in such definition, then so be it. But any definition of democracy or declaration of human rights do not have provisions that say anyone has the right to spread disinformation and do malicious acts.
the church has no role whatsoever in political things....
they can guide but should not join any rally and those things....
they should understand why....
@Raikage
You don't deserve my response either. I am not looking forward to debate with you as I don't want to stoop this low. Can't believe someone believes in the impeccability of all clergy members. It's bad enough that your posts are not well researched and has no basis. It's the worst that you're accusing people of not understanding when you yourself don't understand anything. Read the encyclopedia, read the Bible, then ask yourself WWJD.
