i dunno. really.
next yer, ingnon na sad ka nga.... "wait lng next month kay blah blah blah..". unya pagka next month, ingnon na sad ka nga "wait lng next month...", "next year..." hehehe...
anyways, sa january naa jud expected price cut offs tungod sa introduction sa i7, its going to be ang starting trend and mahimo na siya ug common nga item probably start of 2nd quarter 2009. so buy ka ug yesterdays' best technology at low prices. not bad really...
thing is, try to check your pocket, know how deep it is. then ask yourself if you can afford to wait for next year. 10k for gaming rig is quite difficult if you're REALLY into gaming. a good vc would already eat up your half of the 10k. the other, the procie (x2 5000+ at 3.5k). wer's the mobo? the ram? the OS? the PSU?
if you want to play at cheapest, try mobos with 3xxx-series (Ati) or 8xxx-series IGP, they are cheap nowadays. or, use a 7600gs or x1650 cards which plays decent games at decent fps at DX9 (windows xp, not vista). and use athlon x2 procies 5000+ at least or PDC (not post-dated checks), no C2D k mahal gyud. add a ram n a "above-generic" PSU (naa ba ni?, hehehe) like dynamo pro or imaster. again, at this setup, the game's playable, but not optimized.
@reishoto sakto gyud ka bai.. kana 10k sakto nana pang CS or dota..kombate nana oi..hehehe
