regular checks become stale if the payee fails to negotiate same within certain period of time... some checks negotiation period is indicated on the face of the checks itself but if wala nakabutang, automatic nga 6months na siya... meaning you have to negotiate the check within six months from the DATE of the check, otherwise it becomes "stale" or non-negotiable. some MCs however (like that of citibank) have 360days nego period...
further, dont be confused with the 90days BP 22 restriction period.. meaning if one fails to negotiate a check after 90days from date of check, he/she cannot charge the debtor of appropriate violations of BP22... so its always safer to negotiate checks within 90days so that if probs arises you can have several legal remedies at your disposal.![]()
expert lgi ka mga ing.ani bro ironwood?
Unsa man difference sa Manager's check ug Cashier's check? Which is dali to encash ug unsa man ang mga requirements para ma encash mga aning checques/
manager's check & cashier's check are both bank checks drawn by the bank upon itself and signed by authorized signatories - bank manager & bank cashier, respectively.
actually pareha ra silang duha... mu-differ ra sa officer nga ga-sign.
some banks allow their MCs/CCs to be encashed.. some are for deposit only. depende sa manner ng pag-issue. requirements are the same as encashing other types of cheques.
