pwdi ra kong naay budget ang subscriber, kong wala, aww ang zyxel nalang, let the pldt guy configure it
Para nako nindot ug separate ang modem ug ang router. Zyxel modem is pretty good modem. So far kay mao man gamit nako. Hehehe. I recommend D-Link or Linksys for the router.
So meaning guys! Zyxel na modem to router. then router to PC?
mao bah...
yep, mas nindot gyud, kong naa ka lain purpose
for example, kong kong purpose nimo is IPSev VPN or port forwarding kinanglan ka lain nga router/firewall like linksys RV08, juniper SSG120 or CISCO ASA5510 or fortinet
pero lahi napod pagka config sa zyxel ana,
zyxel will act as modem only and router/firewall will dial pppoe, and obtain public ip, and you can now configure vpn
or kong corporate nga account, nya gi providan ka ug range ug ip, example: 122.73.67.72/29 zyxel will count as router, zyxel will dial pppoe.
use 122.73.67.73 on zyxel local ip
use 122.73.67.74 on wan ip sa router/firewall, then gateway to 122.73.67.73 you can configure vpn
or port forward 122.73.67.75 -----> 192.168.1.100, 122.73.67.76 -----> 192.168.1.101
kong ordinary internet lang nganong mo gasto pa man
or kong purpose nimo is wireless; kani lang nindot : linksys WRT54G2
hehe kaning zyxel nga 4 port, i think para rani sa corporate subscriber, pero la ko sure![]()
