I find the new name for Microsoft Windows (Vista) utterly uninspiring. It isn't as flashy as Windows XP and sounds more like a codename rather than a marketing strategy. Longhorn sounded better but it wasn't even nice either.

Apple does a better job. They have slick sounding codenames for OSX based on cats (Panther, Jaguar, Tiger) and they decided to use those codenames for the final version.

I think Microsoft should rethink about this. After all Windows is their flagship product. It's kinda weird to hear Vista. "whats ur OS? Its Vista.. what!!!!?" feels kinda weird.. what do u think?
