table. I mean how many drop-outs in the US are now multi-millionaires or billionaires.
But I have to agree with xyberblue, the Philippines is diplomatic. Here in our company, those that only finished vocational school do not get the same
opportunities as their college/university peers in terms of career advancement. They still get to go to Japan though so I guess our company is not that

Who are they? What are the things do they have in common? In case you don't have a clue, they are the hackers who dictate what programming language we should use, what is a computer science should be. And they are DEGREE holders.
It will also reflect your personality because you cannot finish on what you have started. Why should I hire who cannot finish something? Of course there is an exception to that if your skill is like JKH (John K. Hubbard).

It's true that a 16 yr old can do programming, but if your goal is just a programming, then you can stop schooling.
If you are pursuing to be a computer scientist then mangiskuyla ta boys.
Note that programming job is not secure nowadays because they just send the jobs to India or the noobs who will accept cheap payments. And someday US will train monkeys to code because you dont have pay them big bucks; just big banana. Beware!
