@Vertical: yes it was. there was even a silly emoticon to match it with.
The difference between men and women lies through sexism of which men are superior compared to women. No one will argue that men are different physically compared to women or vice versa and theirĀ* difference is so obviious. But are they equal? Well, in whatever perspective we look, they aren't equal. A good example is the emotion. Emotion is a basic and merely a determining factor to differenciate men from women.
The greatest challenge of both sexes is to accept and learnĀ* to accept their differences, avoid taking their differences as personal attempts to frustrate each other, and to compromise whenever possible. The idea that one gender can think and feel like the other if they truly loved each is rather absurd. Sure, a man or women could act in consideration of the other’s needs, but this would not necessarily be rewarding and honest. Holding the benefit of another above our own is rewarding. But from time to time, and more often for most of us, it is important to be our self and to be accepted, and not to be the source of distress and disappointment in the lives of people we love.
no *** can govern alone.. whether she likes it or not, men will always have to play a role that no one nor nothing could replace.. perhaps that's one of the reasons why civilization has failed so lamentably- it had one-sided government..
she probably has an intelligent quotient that hovers above her body temperature..
I guess we should not immediately judge the author according to the stuff she wrote. The title of the book itself asks the readers if Men really are necessary. We haven't read the book yet and i think there's nothing wrong to ask such kind of question. It's not that we have to believe all the stuff she had written there. Sometimes it's just better to know some things we haven't thought yet but definitely mattered to each and everyone.
and if sumbody would write "are women necessary?", would probably rouse another thread. lolz. anyways, she might just be having lack of knowledge of the opposite *** thats why shes asking if WE are necessary. as long as its a literal question, its acceptable. but if its something thats like suggesting the annihilation of men.. lolz... thats the term...i might puke on her face.

The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it.
i'd rather say humans are necessary. men, women, and even the ones in between.![]()
The author of the book has a different culture. It would be safe to judge the book according to the kind of environment the author is in. As for our culture. We are more patriarchal. Men plays active role in decision making thus our society needs men. Unfortunately, naa poy mga lalaki sa atoang society nga mag binogo^. Ganahan lang dawat limpyo while ang ilang partner maoy naninguha para mabuhi ilang family.

Very interesting article. Yes, men are necessary only for reproductive purposes...yea, pretty much it!
For reproductive purposes, somehow men are necessary but try also to considered other aspects of men beyond its physical structure and sexual consideration.Originally Posted by h00ters
