angel, have you tried applying for the franchise?

yes nag inquire ko b4, but during dat time, they told me they wont be accepting franchises ky nag upgrade cla sa ilang system sumting. they told me nga january na cla manawat na pd.
Getting a lotto license is not easy. I can say this from experience. We have a nice location for a lotto outlet in downtown Cebu. Sakto lang gyud ang distance from schools and from other lotto outlets. A business associate got us the application forms and everything. Pero, wala gyud mi nakakuha sa license. This was early this year.
And then a couple of months ago, someone rented a spot inside the arcade where we had planned to open a lotto outlet. I don't know how he did it, but he got the license. Ready na ang outlet with sign board, etc. Kulang nalang ang computer system. Yeah. Lotto has started upgrading their computer system.
Anyway, su-ya mi.
yen, naa kay estimate figures kung pila estimate na magasto in opening a Lotto outlet? Lets just say I already have a license...
inani jud diay ka lisod ang mag tukod ug lotto outlet? kana nga license, you get that from PCSO, right?
You mean how much is the construction costs involved? Â*The booth, etc.?
Wala ra na. Â*It would just depend on how nice you want to make your lotto outlet. Â*There are lotto outlets that's just a very small room with a window. Plus, malls and arcades and property owners would give you a good price on the rent because lotto outlets pull more people to their properties. Other businesses would also benefit from having a lotto station nearby.
I've never heard of anyone wanting to sell a lotto license or the rights to operate a lotto franchise. Â*It's very very hard to get one of those. Â*It's the sort of thing to pass on to family members or very close friends. Â*A lot of people would vy for an opportunity to run a lotto station.
You should have seen the look on our business associate's face when he found out that someone else got the lotto license for that location we spotted nearly a year ago. He actually thought we did a double-cross on him. Samot sya na guol when we told him it was another person altogether who got the lotto franchise. Guol saad mi taon.

there was once an ad selling their lotto rights...300k ang baligya sa owner![]()
I stand corrected. =) angelfyre, can you post more details about that ad? Where did you spot it? Here or in newspapers? About when ago? Also, why do they want to sell their rights?
I am interested though I am a little wary. A lotto station is such a gold mine that it's difficult to imagine why someone would want to sell it.
minimal nman ang capital kron unlike before more than 500k... lisod lang jud karon ka apply n if dli city mo location 1 outlet lng per town ila allow....... i wud suggest you better inquire personally sa ila office sa reclamation para naa ka peace of mind n u will know all things you need![]()
