i have an OtsAV software i used in playing music. mas nice pa sya sa itunes ky it plays continuously without overlapping each other. pang radio station ang dating hahaha....
And because i love radio but radio don't play good music anymore, i even created a fictional radio jingle and insert it every 3 song to make it sound like I'm listening to an FM station that still plays good music.![]()
naa pa kahay paglaum nga mabalik ang K 89.9? i think the station change from k-lite to just plainly K 89.9 in the mid to late 90's...i like more of k 89.9 than k-lite cause they play more of indie pop/ alternative, and not so mainstream music like REM, Radiohead, Travis, Oasis, bed folds five and some indie British/US rock...they also play 80's music(the new wave) and reggae from time to time and some cool pop...nice balance of music we have then, not bias and commercialize like what we have now...hope those times will be back..hehehe! i remember they have this cool and very vulgar dj who's very open to say that he is gay, i dont know if its true, i forgot his name though..hehehehe!
i hope someone would save cebus world from going down the drain of these stupid tooo pop commercialized Fm station! i hope someone who has a great musical taste and rich enough to have his own Fm station in Cebu and would function even without much of advertisements...to break this on going trends in fm radios, and cleverly play great variety of music and of course the alternative, indie pop/rock like the Radio Dept., portishead, radiohead, mojave 3, the thrills, air, flaming lips, built to spill, elliot smith, death cab for cuties, the shins, Matt Pond PA, Buffalo Tom, the lemonheads, modest mouse, supergrass, suede, elbows, jesus and mary chain, alice in chains, jeff buckley, neutral milk hotel, papa fritas, jason collet, blur, Yo La tengo, yeah yeah yeah, the smashing pumpkins, Wilco, juliana hatfield, kula shaker, travis, coldplay, bjork, moby, fat boy slim...
And the classics of REM, the velvet underground, bob dylan, neil young, the kinks, mamas and the papas, natalie merchant/ 10,000 maniacs, tori amos, jimi hindirix, bob marley, morrissey/the smiths, new order...and more of this type...i miss and really love to hear the music of these artists played on radio...very cool specially if they play it on to fit the weather and environment we have on a certain time(naa gyuy mga DJ nga maayo mo timing, kabalo unsay i-play kung ting uwan or sunny day or kung murag mingaw ang mga streets sa sundays or kung unsa occasion sa syudad)...how i dream! hehehe
