    Default CaoDaism (Cao Dai)

CaoDai is a universal faith with the principle that all religions have one same divine origin, which is God, or Allah, or the Tao, or the Nothingness, one same ethic based on LOVE and JUSTICE, and are just different manifestations of one same TRUTH.

Three Teachings within Caodaiism are: Buddha, Sage & Saints
The Three Teachings represent hierarchical levels of spiritual attainment, with buddha as the highest. Caodaiism's various stages of spiritual development from human on up are: Thần (angel), Thánh (saint), Tiên (sage), and Phật (buddha). Angels, saints and sages may have, accordingly, extremely long lives in the realms of heaven, but only buddhas are free from the cycle of birth and death.

(I think CaoDaism is a great religion since it is a combination of Christianity, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism and other religion. Please post here if you have more words of wisdom on this Religion)

The noble effort of CaoDai is to unite all of humanity through a common vision of the Supreme Being, whatever our minor differences, in order to promote peace and understanding throughout the world. CaoDai does not seek to create a gray world, where all religions are exactly the same, only to create a more tolerant world, where all can see each other as sisters and brothers from a common divine source reaching out to a common divine destiny realizing peace within and without.

Đạo Cao Đài is the religion's shortened name, the full name is Đại Đạo Tam Kỳ Phổ Độ (Great Religion of the Third Period of Revelation and Salvation).
A spiritual message of Cao Dai:
Out of Love and Mercy, out of respect for life, I have founded the Great Way's Third Revelation to save the earthly human, to help the virtuous attain a world of peace and avoid reincarnation to the earthly world of suffering.

CaoDai principle is, "All religions have one same principle, and one same origin," and "the Universe and all things are bestowed with God's Spirit." Its diverse spiritual teachings allow all persons in all spiritual states to find refuge in it. CaoDai affirms that true love and justice would lead to harmony on earth and are also the basis for individual spiritual liberation.

If naa pa diri cebu, i think daghan cguro maka appreciate ani nga religion, and possible ma lupigan ang mga Taoist temple, Buddhist temple or Islamic mosques ani sa Cebu

This is not a combination of the great religions...but merely a patch of the other religions.

I think this is another branch out of Buddhism...Buddhism is an offshoot of Hinduism.

I'm sorry but i think it is not another branch-out religion on Buddhism, based on my study & research.
Cao Đài is a relatively new syncretist monotheistic religion.

    * In theology, monotheism is the belief that only one God exists.

    * Syncretism consists of the attempt to reconcile disparate or contrary beliefs, often while melding practices of various schools of thought. The term may refer to attempts to merge and analogise several originally discrete traditions, especially in the theology and mythology of religion, and thus assert an underlying unity allowing for an inclusive approach to other faiths.
