Clever Brown...He asked those that who were uncomfortable or those dislike the proceedings - therefore less susceptible to what he intend to do - to leave the room and asked those who are interested to in continuing - the susceptible - to remain in the room for the next part, thus effectively suggesting that something special is gonna happen, and therefore leaving those who chose to continue in expectation.

When someone asks you whether you want to leave or remain, we naturally assume that something 'special' is to happen next (because if there isnt, why do they ask in the first place...there MUST be something...at least that is how we assume). And when you chose to remain, it is also passumed that you are committed.

What can I say...Its a very clever ploy...

or those who left were just too nice to ask if it was a trick and instead just left.. and it would have ended the documentary.. or that part would have been edited.. hehe..

in marketing, most of the time but not all the time, if a salesman applies the theory of suggestibility, a sale is more likely to happen than shoving the product to the consumer.. a ploy to somewhat let the buyer think that he still has the choice not to buy.. and would now think of what he'll miss w/o this product..

Everything was a trick of course...Heheheh!...But people are less likely to ask up front - unless a trickster present himself as a magician. Using trickery as a charlatan is really diifferent. Brown is simply skillful in masking trickery as New Age (and kind of exposing himself is a point of some of his programs...He is an entertainer, in the first place...But as an entertainer, he would not spill all the beans about it...The program is layered with multiple deceptions. That, I can say...)

Well we believe in the logic and reason in the Bible. Faith is believing something that is in fact truth. That is the Biblical truth. And we are not believing something that is a mere suggestion of truth. Evidences and miracles and the millions of Christians who experienced their faith.
I believe that this person has his own faith as well and that is Psychology or his way of thinking. It also has its own evidences and sets of truth that he generated.
Unfortunately magic as what this person tries to present is something that we are not quick to believe even miracles are not proof of truth.
Well in Part 2 it would be very useful the coin thing it would be very useful in gambling and casinos.

What do you mean logic and reason in the bible? can you reconcile the hundreds of inconsistencies there in the old and new testament? if the bible is based on logic and reason, how come there are hundreds and thousands of Christian denominations who are arguing that their interpretation of the bible is correct and reasonable? I think the bible is dangerous for the fanatics that's why there are lots of crazy people who murdered and died for their BELIEFS which are not based on FACTS!!!
