Good morning Cebuanos!
My name is Ian. I am a Christian. I am currently living in Mandaue and I would like to invite guitar beginners and intermediate players alike for a fun, interactive tutorial.
My 30 years of guitar playing has taught me a solid foundation about my guitar, its complexities
and the many memorable hours it gave to me and my audiences.
How about you? Can you relate to your audiences? Whether in a band or in small group?
Can you hear and sing with your notes? Can you adapt to different music genres and playing style? Do you understand phrasing, legato, and direct picking? Do you know that voice leading is the key to a dynamic improvisation? Is Gain your friend or Chorus your foe? How much feedback do you need to mix in a hall? What is your current rig? Do you love the sound of a tube?
Are you a guitar newbie or a tired rock legend?

The reason why i write this thread is the hope to share my knowledge with you and help
you in your goal to learn and develop your skill, love and appreciation to guitar and all areas
its playability, level of technique and musical applications.
I am not the perfect player. YOU ARE!
My goal is to clearly assist you in your guitar growth. I understand that it takes only a strum
to play a guitar. However if you want to excel, consider me as your teacher.
I am here to help you. However, I will not teach you unless you pass an on-line examination.
This examination will help you assist your strength and identify your weakness. So I encourage you to answer it HONESTLY. If you cheat, it will be revealed in our exercises.
If you are interested, please email me at
aeon_032@yahoo.com. Kindly indicate your level of guitar playability and brief description of your style, rig or music genre and guitar type.
Guitar playing is a wonderful skill, a natural gift from God—it's time for you to have it!
Shalom!
