I have one. 30-330ms of delay, very shory delay. It works like this.. Repeat time is your control of the delay time.. I think my pedal is busted somehow. Baliktad siya.. If you want to get the 330 ms delay you have to turn the knob all the way to the left. Crazy huh? Echo = control of the delay. if the knob is all the way to the left then you dont hear any effect. GETS? lets talk about the 3rd knob.. If the knob is past 2:30-3:00 it will start to oscillate and the repeats go crazy and will somehow create a feedback, a beautiful feedback. if you like to listen to ambient/shoegazing/post rock, this pedal is for you. I think Graham Coxon ( blur ) has one of these.. try listening to the song BATTLE. i think its in the album of BLUR BLUR or 13. I forgot. The oscillation sounds really cool. Also, you can try to emulate the outro of KARMA POLICE ( radiohead ) the exploding part.. the DM2 can copy that sound.
but if you like to have a longer delay time like 550ms-600ms. try the EHX DMM or the MXR analog delay.. I've a/b'd both the Boss DM2 and MXR analog delay. they sound alike.. i think all analog delays sound alike. just my 2 cents. I used to have 4 delays in my pedalboard. 2 Digital delays (PS3, RV3), 1 analog, 1 sim (Ibby DE7). Sold them all but I kept the DM2. hehe..
^^amen to that,...i think the nova delay is much2x better than the DD7...if you have the budget then you're better off gettin' one...hehe
how bout this?
