Mac is nice but very expensive

i read in insidetech that mac's "security" is only "secure" as what vyncynt says. Dili sikat.

When Mac OS was made to hold up against security attacks it was broken in under 15 mins. While Linux and Windows stood for a whole day. so the facade of "security" is only skin deep.

You can search this in an article on insidetech about a security expo a few months ago.

imo macs are for just for the everyday person who wants to use word processors and watch movies and pictures, its absolute foolproof and requires almost zero to no maintenance. really because my gf has a mac and ive got a vista laptop, she can treat her os like dirt plugging in any usb from anyone and leaving it on the internet and going to quite dangerous sites thanks to me, lol.

i honestly am afraid of using usb's of other people since i dont have much of a back up and ive got alot of important data.

macs are pretty secure imo when it comes to viruses and low maintenance

Every computer system is not secured at all times, it may also contain security flaws or vulnerabilities. As remembered, a Mac hacker distributed a virus called Leap-A/Oompa-A through the iChat application last 2006.

no system is safe .. even a full UNIX system .. depende nana sa admin unsaon nya pag dala ang system nga dili ma sud.. y daghang virus ang windows. coz mas daghang programers ang windows kaysa other os.. y naa nay virus ang mac.. coz ni adopt na ang mga manghimuay ug virus sa mac system.. maka install naman sila ug mac sa pc.. y safe fram viruses and linux.. kay wa pa nag ka interest ang mga manghimuay ug virus.. ana rana sya
