nakabasa na pud ko. akong brother ga pahulam nako. i recommended it to a friend who brought it at National Bookstore. she was trying to hide it as she was waiting in line for the cashier (maulaw daw siya. ngee). sus ka nahulog bitaw na and a guy at her back picked it up. the guy said something like don't worry, somebody is coming for you. hilarious.

i have this title in e-book format. a friend sent it to me earlier this year but up until now, i haven't gotten myself to start reading it. i prefer reading with the physical book in my hands. sakit sa mata ang magbasa from the computer. hehe.

We need figuring out? I haven't read the book but I think I can relate the title to my experiences 15 years ago. I had two girl<space>friends then who I knew wanted me to date them. I did but I didn't make a pass and one of them thought I was gay <grrr>. I guess I had to let them know that I just liked their company. I think that was "ouch" time but jeez girls, isn't that better than saying "I love you", doing the "wham bam thank you ma'am.' I finally found someone in the same university who I felt for deeply and actually uttered the dreaded 3 words. It took me two weeks of introspection to validate the feeling. And now we're married for 11 years with a daughter. Do I feel sorry for myself for not being the kind of man who "wham bam thank you ma'am" or the fu*ers who take cellvids of their GFs and publish them on the web? No, I'm not. Some of my friends tell me I didn't enjoy my single life enough but hey what do they know? I just hope their daughters don't get "wham bam thank you ma'am.' (OT ba ko ani?)

Kita pud ko last time when the author was interviewed by Oprah. That was a nice episode. Several women shared their experiences w/ men. Most of them, pirmi lang tubagon sa author na "He's just not that into you!"... Hehehe! Some even tried to defend their men (maybe trying to convince themselves or the author na their guys are serious with them).

This book intrigued me. Hope to get a copy!
