Hahaha! Gihurot na gyud nimo tanan ha, pero mura'g wala man siguro doktor nga member dire sa istorya. Doctors are usually too busy to "stambay" in a forum, I think. LOL

Sip-on, wala'y tambal ana, caused man na by a virus. Supportive treatment ra gyud imong mabuhat, adequate fluid intake, nasal irrigation etc etc

Kung combination of symptoms like, runny nose, a little cough, sore and itchy throat, watery and itchy eyes...basin allergy na, or what docs call, allergic rhinitis. Kung ping-ot imong ilong, or if there's head/nasal congestion, basta OTC lang estoryahan, combination of antihistamine & decongestant is the best. I recommend Zyrtec w/ Sudafed. Sudafed should not be taken more than 3 days, and it does cause a little elevation in BP, so dili ni advisable sa mga taas ang alta presyon. Nasal irrigation is always good, like NetiPot.

Sa labad sa ulo, depende man na sa klase sa labad sa ulo. The safest bet is always acetaminophen (paracetamol). There are products nga combination of acetaminophen w/ caffeine, ok pud na. You can take ibuprofen or naproxen kung dili madala sa paracetamol, but you need to take these meds with food to lessen stomach irritation. These drugs are toxic to the liver, so avoid taking these for an extended period of time. Obviously, alcohol is a NO-NO while you're on these meds.

With regards to chest congestion, maayo man ang guaifenesin to loosen up mucus. Dextromethorphan though, has recently been shown to be only slightly better than placebo, it doesn't really work as a cough suppressant. If you have persistent, hacking cough...take buckwheat honey. It is surprisingly very effective para sa ubo.

Kung hilantan na gani ka, unya sip-on, ubo, head and chest congestion...you need medical care na, kay basin bacterial infection na na, kinahanglan na antibiotics.

The names of the drugs I mentioned are all generic kay nakalimot nako sa brand names ana nila.

Try to go to medical websites also, daghan kaayo ka makita information didto.
