Neil, is this the "wicked one"? Complicated to fabricate and tune since its a 4th order bandpass.
Mag-trial and error ta sa tuning. Dako gastos sa mdf. Except if you buy the plans from decware.
The deathbox is also a 4th order bandpass. Adjustable lang ang baffle nga gi-butangan sa driver.
wicked one it is alright c",) the plans are posted on their site. actually, the dimensions are self-adjusting kay based on 24" or 36" width (or length ba to?), unlike most plans nga naa gyud exact measurements. imho, the only critical part is the closed compartment as its volume is dependent on the driver installed. as for the horn, the dimensions are already based on a pre-determined response curve. medyo dako gyud magasto ani for materials alone, esp kung 3/4" mdf ang gamiton.
when i finally get my 2 12" round kicker solobaric subs, i might try this out albeit using marine plywood lang sa.
if i remember right, alvingo already has experience with the deathbox.
kana kang antols na box ba how big na??size of the box rather
kana nga box boss, 3.76cuft for single 12"..
kusog ba ang snail box if nka 10 inch ra na kicker?
I used to have a JBL GTO1202D with side ported box and my cousin bought the same subwoofer and used it in a sealed type box with the dimensions specifically made by JBL.... comparing the quality and loudness, mine was much more louder and firm.
