try GSD bro, very nice gaurd dog.. I have my GSD mopanghot jud, pero friendly kay mag depend man gud na ang dog og unsay gianad nimo niya. lyk may GSD if you enter our house without company with one of our family paghutong jud ka, pero pag kuyog nimo bisag kinsa sa amo family d jud siya mopaghot. makig duwa pa nimo.

Im also a dad of a male shih tzu, friendly sad siya but ayaw lang jud og pakuyawi kay paghuton jud ka then forever na ka niya nga kontra. now im starting to train him a basic obedience dali ra man diay sila kasabot, then kanindot pa d na nimo kinahanglan og dako nga lugar bisag sa kwarto ra.

for me it really depends on what type of dog you need? consider the following...
you need the dog for protection, playmate/companion, fashion etc..

my choice would be a golden retriever as a playmate/companion dog, rotweiler for a guard dog.

Labrador Retrievers make great pets. They are going to be much more easy to manage than a doberman
