we don't see the pope as God, we see him as the vicar of Christ here on earth. wa na nag pa sabot nga amo pag tan aw nya kay ginoo... dako ra jd ang gihatag ug respect nya kay cya man gi pili nga mo lead sa church.... so ayaw mo pag ingon nga ang pag tan aw sa filipinos sa pope kay ginoo... mura sad mo ning ingon bogo ang mga pinoy... ka claro ana nga dili na cya ginoo follwer of Christ gihapon na cya...

With all due respect, I don't consider the Pope to be holy...

Only God alone is Holy...

Who gave authority to place God under the Pope?

Wa sila mabuang? I am a Christian, more so a specifically a Catholic. But as the world is turning different, all i can say is my strong faith remains with Him. I lost faith most, if not all, to these so called "new shepherds" of the herd.

When my favorite Pope died (Pope John Paul II), and he came out into the open as the new Pope, i never quite felt for him the same thing i did for Santo Papa (as what i fondly called Pope John Paul II).

Now, I am left with my faith and still happy of what i have left. Pope John Paul left all of us but i never did come to erase in my memory the years he served. Till the end he reached out to as far as he can and did what he knows was necessary.

Pero nevertheless, they are still people like us. We don't know their agenda. Our Catholic Religion is enveloped in secrecy. There are still a lot of questions quite unanswered till now. That is why i have lost faith in them. But not in my religion or my faith to the higher being. I still know and want to believe that there is someone out there, patiently waiting for all of us.
