if you guys are looking to share books, try BookMooch: exchange books and trade them, like a book swap or book barter. it's a site that allows you to get books for free, provided you maintain a ratio and send out a couple of books as well. there are lots of users from the philippines. you should try it; i've already gotten like 7 books for free =)

Totally agree with Jet about Bookmooch. Wonderful to share/get books this way!

the bookshops that i've known so far: national bookstore, cagnaan, powerbooks, fully booked, book sale.

NBS ug cagnaan lang gyud ko pirmi. i prefer cagnaan for more technical books though some of their books are a little out of date, but still very useful and informative. i go to NBS for DIY and self help books. i've been to powerbooks but it's a bit pricey while i never found any book of my interest at book sale. is still have to give fully booked a visit.
