just to give u idea of what happened - i arrived at the scene approximately 4:30. around 45 minutes after it happened after i heard it on my car radio. when i arrived, didto na ang mga reporters, and paul labra with few cops, but still no SOCO! naka una pa ko interview sa mga victims kay sa SOCO and investigators who arrived at around 4:45pm. anyway thats how i learned that the employee of the office accross the jewelry store called 166 and no answer after 6 rings so she dropped the phone out of fear, same thing with the employee of the mango plaza office. some tried calling 166 with their cellphones but u cant, even trying 032-166, dili gyud ma himo. They were all trying to call while the holdup was still GOING ON. police then told me that there was technically something wrong with 166 when i confronted them on why nobody answered, hence my statements in the article posted here in the 1st page of this thread. Pagka Paet. Ang mall sad ug ang jewelry store walay security camera. Na dagpan baya tong nag holdup sa ORO jewelry around 3 months ago coz na identified thru there old VHS camera system. sayang kaayo. oh well.... i am now working on an integrated emergency hotline system similar to the 911 of the US which should be up in around 4 to 6 months. i already talked to top guys of PLDT and GLOBE and theyl do it for us. so it will be just one number to remember for all type of emergencies (medical, fire, police, traffic accidents, public disturbances, etc) instead of us trying to remember different numbers for these kinds of emergencies.

by the way, naay tapad nga store nga naa pa gyud alarm unta but panic sila coz ang usa ka holdupper gawas sa jewelry store nga gi holdup nag aim sa iyang 45 pistol padung nila. hapa sila tanan.
