that is why i want you to show us the evidence from your quran and hadith that islam is peace because i read both books and only saw violence. yes, the first part was peaceful and tolerant because muhamad was at that time still weak. but the peaceful verses were later abrogated by voilent terroristic verses.



so what's the use of this thread? a puro paganda tool for islam? it's a second look on islam and aren't you here to respond to people's question about islam? if we need to google it then why start this thread? christians have their threads and they respond to the questions with their bible verses. it shows that their religion have nothing to hide and nothing to fear. but islam have to sugarcoat their language and their quran and hadith because it is full of terrorism and violence.

Only saw violence? i read the quran and i saw violence yes,but it was a violence for self defense and retaliation due to provocation by other party. But all in all i read about Muhammad ordering the warriors not kill babies,old people,woman and non-combatants.

There was no abrogation the verses commanding the muslim to live peaceful was to be an eternal law for the community.


The use of this thread is to give a proper explanation of what islam is...BUT if you come to me with verses like that with attitude projecting that you are an expert on hadiths and the quran then maybe its better for you to google your answer than ako ang mag answer,because its useless to discuss with people who have attitudes if you get what i mean.

But still you cannot deny that a lot of muslim are using islam as a reason to be violent. With the laws of islam, you cannot avoid violence because anything can be a sign of a threat to the religion like for example the immorality of the west, their growing power... in the case of Mindanao, the fact that more catholics occupy the low lands... anything can be a reason for suicide bombing and other violence.
