Upgrading Old Rigs need advice...

For 10k+ ako ta e upgrade akong old PC setup. i need an advice on where to start...if posible kanang mka daog og
Call of Duty 2 or maybe kanang bag-o ron Call of duty 4, though not gamer pero I'll try to play one.

Old specs.
proc: Intel E7200 (2.53mhz) C2D
mobo: Gigabyte GAG31M-s2l
Ram: 1 x Kingston 1G 800DDR2
Vcard: Built-in
monitor: 15" CRT

Unsa man akong unahon og upgrade?., my initial plan ky 19" LCD = 8K, for the remaining 2k+ ky sa Vcard..but then onsa nga vcard? best for my mobo.

IMHO my Athlon x2 4000+ based system bought in Feb. 7, 2008 is muhc older tech than that bro.

Anyways.....spend money for another 1GB RAM/ 2k to 3k for for a Video Card, plus a branded PSU. For the LCD how about a smaller one?

cgi unahon lng sa nko Ram, Vcard, pwr supply..ang subra e bulsa..bacin nxt yer mo ubos na ang price sa LCD.

btw mga bro ask ko ngano gamay raman ang price difference between this Vcards:
(inn3d 8600gt 512ddr3 128bit = 3480psos) and (inn3d 8600gt 1Gddr2 128bit = 3530psos)
pero ang memory sa ddr2 is doble kysa ddr3... dako ba ang difference bet ddr2 and ddr3?

mas kusog ang DDR3 chips compared to DDR2 and more expensive as well. it affects performance. Performance cards dont use DDR2.. 1GB is useless for the DDR2 version.. it's just appealing to buyers..

dont buy dat 8600GT at P3500. A 9600GSO 384Mb DDR3 @ P3700 is a lot faster than that. or better yet a 9600GT 512mb DDR3 @ 5K..

if you go ATI, Radeon 4670 512mb ddr3 tag P4350..

yup agree..layo kaau dif sa performance sa 9600 n 8600..sugest 9600 gt gyd..pra 1 tym upgrade for 3-5years na ni kaya mga new games

id go with the ati card na 4670 for around 4k.. a very efficient gpu and can play games at a decent/playable fps. also considering 15" crt pa imo monitor. and the rest you can invest it in a good psu. the ST-56F is a good start para if mg upgrade napud ka ug vid card well kayang-kaya ra kau. also add 1gb sa imo ram and your good to go! HTH

I could run COD4 @640x480 using a 256MB GeForce 7300GT DDR3 (PCIE).....so I guess anything higher like the 9600GSO can run COD4 at higher resolutions and more details.
