The Thais have had the chance to have a good but unpopular leader with Thaksin. He was rich and a visionary and could have led Thailand to prosperity. But he was so unpopular, why? Coz the king didn't like him around. The king sees Thaksin a threat to his hold in power that is why he make sure Thaksin will be unpopular and should be booted out. That is a conspiracy theory from many analysts that made sense.

That conspiracy theory is also happening in the Philippines. We have a competent but very unpopular president. Me and my friend was in SG this weekend when a Singaporean businessman gives us a dose of our own medicine. My friend's-friend (A tagalog speaking butt-head) hates PGMA to the bones that he will eat her ala-sushi anytime. But he was given a cold shower by the SG businessman. The Singaporean commented why the hell he wanted to boot out PGMA when we have a very competent president with her. According to him, the Philippines is doing better than any other ASEAN countries coz of good financial policies courtesy of PGMA. The SG businessman really knows his stuff that he gave us a good 30 min. rundown. After that, the tagalog butt-head couldn't wait to get back to his mother's womb.

In the Philippines, the Catholic church and the oligarchs wanted to boot PGMA at all cost. Why? Coz she is the only president who supports Federalism and when that happens, party time for the priests and the oligarchs are over.

We don't need to follow the Thais, we're not stupid like them. What we have to do is just support for Charter Change and eventually to Federalism. Then we can say bye-bye to these bullying priests and oligarchs.

^^ Well I absolutely agree, these priests are taking advantage of the restlessness of the common people and they are not even taxed, and that is so unfair. If they want to do like in thailand, then they better go there, and don't come back.

The case in Thailand is just basically anarchy. It's a plain economic sabotage to drive a national leader out of power.

Tu-u man mo anang duha ka Opisbo nga gipang angu-angu naman na sila. Uban gani nga Obispo nga kauban nila, Obispo na na ha, di man gani motoo ining Tobias ug Iniquiez. Sige kamu pa.

This is the kind of behavior that our Filipino Citizenry should not follow. Why? The world all over is experiencing a financial crisis. Following the Thais would escalate our situation from moderately stable to total anarchy and by Anarchy, I mean NPA and MILF, MNLF will be running wild across the regions because anarchy will be to their advantage. Stock market crashes(God forbid) and economic turmoil will further destroy the Philippines. What Thailand needs is a Marcos. He had the cohones(Guts) to set the people straight. During the 1st two years of Martial Law were great for the economy, the Filipino people for once had some sense of Discipline, and most importantly there was Order. We all know what happened afterwards. That so called General in Thailand is nothing but a fat blaggard tooting his own horn for show. Teaching the people a lesson will silence the "PAD". If you do not show force, then they will overpower you and further exploit the situation for their benefit. The police merely drop leaflets atop helicopters to stop the rioting and to warn residents to stay away. My advice to the general is to commit political suicide. Kill the people, establish a new order. Do it Burma style.
