Priests and Pope can forgive sin?

DEFINITELY NOT. Priests are only human just like us.

Read this in your Bible
I Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,"

There is only one middleman between man and God..that is if we ask forgiveness directly to HIM alone. NO WHERE in the BIBLE is it said that we should confess to our fellow MAN or priests or the pope for that matter. NO WHERE in the BIBLE does it say that God gave authority to the priests to permit us forgiveness.

I John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

God gave us this SIMPLE promise..if we confess to him our sins He will forgive us. it does not say, if we confess our sins to the priest. it doesn't say in the BIBLE that we should pray memorized prayers so we can be forgiven.

Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"

it says ALL have sinned..nobody is HOLY and WITHOUT sin except Jesus himself. it doesn't say EXCEPT for.. Mary and all the saints..it says clearly in the BIBLE we ALL have sinned.

DO you believe that the BIBLE is without fault and is the WORD of GOD? What is the basis of your faith? IS it the TRADITIONS that are MAN-MADE? or the INFALLIBLE WORD of GOD which is the BIBLE?

you may say that the BIBLE is only written by men..TRUE. but INSPIRED by the HOLY SPIRIT.

2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,"

DOn't be blind by man-made rituals and traditions. Open your Bible and learn the TRUTH.
