it really wasn't that bad. DLSU's lead was only 10 points midway through the 4th quarter. Cortes was limited to 3 and Padillo had only 8(he was 0/6 from the field in the 1st half)

a one sided story is dangerous. Know the real score first. While it is true that some amopunt was mentioned, USC did that to protect its interests, gikapoy na sila pirme lang wad-an player like in the case of Ron Cabagnot.
Some players were thinking about leaving the team and going to Manila to try their luck. USC asked them they will let go of them if they pay some amount to cover the expenses nga gigahin sa USC while they were still with the team.
Dili si Mike mismo ang nioffer as you claimed. This is done to protect the interests of USC against marauding pirates from Imperial Manila
