Tax is good. I'm glad that the administration now has the balls to raise taxes. This has long been overdue. Our president has always been hesitant to implement necessary yet unpopular decisions, because she has always been afraid to lose pogi points from the masses. :mrgreen:

Yeah, Evat is like a some sort of a remedial solution. The long term solutions should be effecient tax collection system, abolition of the porks and the federal system of government.

the purpose of +2%vat and other taxes is to increase government revenue........ the bad thing. we suffer for it....... sa ato mn mga end user tagak ang vat.. samot na kron ...

as jz heard a while.. ng pa gawas ang US sa ila reserves.. nka bawi ang peso compare sa dollar...ni ubos ang price na oil sa world market sa dubai mn cgro to from 46 to 43.. so dapat naa rollback sa oil price.. if ni mahal ang mga palaliton tungod ana price sa lana...... e rollbakc pud tana nila ky ni barato mn ang lana.... they should also monitor that one..... chain effect to the employer ug sa iya mga trabahante.....wage ang salary issue...

yeah they have the balls to raise taxes and no balls to go after those who don't pay the right taxes and pass the burden to ordinary citizens to solve the problem that they initiated.

but i wouldn't agree that employees should not pay taxes... it is part of your duty being a citizen.
