for me definitely i will choose dondon. coz kung atong e compare cla 2 ni james yap. base sa statistics nilang 2. in PPG james yap will prevail. but sa APG,SPG,RPG,BPG maybe labaw jud c dondon. c james yap man gud s d no.1 go-to-guy gyud sa PF. he has all the license-to-shoot all the time. mao jud na maka produce jud xa ug daghang point every game. but ang nkabati lang ni james yap is his APG. he is only averaging below 1 APG. compare ni dondon nga iyang mga tira is selected kaayo. mo itsa ra xa kung ang play nila is designed para nya jud. nya dondon sad ky maayo kaayo motan-aw ug taw. dali kaayo kapasa. murag nag average man tngali xa ug 4 APG.

James Yap is a born scorer while Dondon Hontiveros is a more versatile and all-around player. Yap played only for less than 12 minutes in their game against Ginebra, scored 12 points in a single quarter alone and didn't return to the game due to his sprain. Without Yap, Purefoods still managed to win the game, getting big contributions from Aaron Aban, Chico Lanete, and Topex Robinson setting aside PJ Simon and Kerby Raymundo. If Yap played more minutes, I doubt if such players can do that good in that game.
