Yes, a person may incur obligations even without entering into any contract or agreement. This is what is called "natural obligation". For example, your parents did not enter into a contract with you as children in order to be obligated to feed you, clothe you, educate you, etc. But still, under the law, they have the obligation to perform the parental obligations.

Another way of being obligated without entering into any contract or agreement is when you are in estoppel. Estoppel happens when in your presence, with your knowledge, you are made to assume responsibilites but you did not hesitate to refuse such assumption. That is why, you are already estopped to question such responsibility.

Still another way of incurring obligations without entering into any contract or agreement is when you are found guilty in a criminal case. As had been said, every person who is criminally liable is also civilly liable. Thus, when you are found guilty in a criminal case, you will be obligated to pay damages even if you do not agree or you did not enter in to a contract.

i have a question.. i cant remember if ako ba tong teacher sa law ang nag.ingon about scholars na di pwede mubalhin other school unless he/she pays the school sa amount na nagasto sa school para niya as scholar?..anyone plz..thanks..

Well, that will have to depend on the provisions of the contract of scholarship that the student signed. If nakabutang didto sa kontrata nga kinhangan siya mubayad once she signed the contract, then she becomes bound by it. Ang kana man gud any contract nga pirmahan sa bisan kinsa nga tawo, becomes the "law" between the parties to that contract.
